Never has a modern appliance looked so beautiful to me. This is our new washer and dryer. After traveling to my parents to do laundry for over a month, we had had enough. We appreciated my parent's willingness to allow us to use their washer and dryer so we didn't have to pay to use a Laundromat, but it was pretty difficult to fit in time to get all our laundry done when we are both working full time. On Friday, by a wonderful tender mercy from the Lord we found a killer deal in an add. Saturday morning we were able to go to the store and look at them. They were beautiful and just about what we were looking for, and miraculously…something we could afford. So we are proud to announce 2 new additions to our family. Our lovely washer and dryer.
(We know we are missing a stand drawer. It was broken when they delivered it and are bringing us a new one some time this week.)
And cherry red! Dan would love it!
ReplyDeletehooray!! when we move to a place with hook ups I think I'd like red ones too. at least we don't have to go to a laundromat, but $2 to wash and $2 to dry adds up quick. we hang dry a lot, and Erik discovered a secret to get more drying time. I feel guilty, but at those prices they should get a decent dryer whose coin drop doesn't jam.
